The “music royalty” of the Crescent City descends upon the Keswick tomorrow night, Tues., Aug. 25 @ 7:30 PM. Tickets on sale now!

Throughout their long careers as both solo performers and as members of the group that bore their family name, The Neville Brothers proudly carry the torch of their native New Orleans’ R&B legacy. Art, Charles, Aaron & Cyril Neville first officially collaborated in 1976 in New Orleans as The Wild Tchoupitoulas to honor the Mardis Gras Indian legacy of their uncle George Landry. Since forming The Neville Brothers the very next year in 1978, the four brothers have toured the world to wide acclaim spreading a spirited and soulfully blended sound that combines R&B, reggae, gospel and funk influences in a spicy sonic gumbo that’s deeply rooted in their Creole New Orleans heritage.

As the living embodiment of the rich musical heritage exclusive to New Orleans, Dr. John continues to write, arrange, produce and interpret with a passion he shares with audiences across the globe. With a career spanning over six decades, he has collaborated with some of the industry’s biggest names such as Van Morrison, Aretha Franklin, Eric Clapton & Mick Jagger to name a few. He has also garnered a number of Grammy award wins including the 2009 “Best Contemporary Blues Album” award for his 2008 release, City That Care Forgot. Considered to be his finest recording in twenty years, the album was released as part of Dr. John’s continued effort to support a post-Katrina New Orleans.
