The 1896 O’Malley House Bed & Breakfast is located in historic Mid-City New Orleans. We are just a convenient STREETCAR RIDE DOWN CANAL STREET to the French Quarter and Convention Center. The Colonial Revival residence is nestled in a neighborhood that boasts great food, music and culture. Our guests can enjoy a short walk to restaurants serving cuisines that range from Creole/Cajun French to Greek, Italian or Mexican. Nearby is Mid-City Lanes ("Rock and Bowl"), which is great fun for music and dancing! Our guests can also RIDE THE STREETCAR TO THE FAIRGROUNDS—home of the New Orleans JAZZ AND HERITAGE FESTIVAL. City Park, which houses the world class New Orleans Museum of Art, is also just a short stroll from the house. Endymion, which is a famous Mardi Gras parade, rolls through Mid-City too!

All of our bedrooms are tastefully furnished with both antiques and reproductions, cypress doors and beautifully refinished hardwood floors. All of the bedrooms have queen Recommended by TripAdvisoror king beds and PRIVATE BATHROOMS with granite countertops - MOST HAVE JACUZZIS. The third floor has two charming bedrooms with pickled wood walls and private bathrooms. The newly renovated and enhanced O’Malley House is the recipient of the Golden Hammer Award from the Mayor’s Office for its restoration. It was COMPLETELY RENOVATED in 2000 and upgraded post-Katrina in 2005/06.

A large breakfast is served daily in the lovely downstairs dining room. Dining,Free WiFi tours, and entertainment recommendations are provided by host LARRY WATTS (and CODY, the golden retriever!), to enhance your visit.
