When all the elements of a city are in one structure it's called Arcology in the virtual world. This Arcology would be near the French Quarter and business district in New Orleans, far away from the devasted ninth ward being rebuilt by Brad Pitt and others.

Some architectural firms have banded together to design a 1200 foot high arcology structure for New Orleans.

The architects are referring to the plan as NOAH (New Orleans Arcology Habitat). The triangle building utilizes the inherent strength of triangles to build a structure that would be able to withstand high force hurricanes.

Plans would be for 20,000 residences, three hotels and a million feet of commercial space, 20,000 square foot health care clinic, and three casinos.

Of course the New Orleans Arcology building will feature every green eco-friendly system imaginable and available.
